| Hello everyone!
I am new to this forum, but I know of it from posting on several other boards around the site. I am hoping someone here may be able to help me, or point me in the right direction.
I am planning to make a cake for my MIL's upcoming birthday. It is a teapot cake, and consists of using pound cake mix baked in bowls, then frosted to look like a teapot. I have included a link below to one site that has directions. I will most likely go with a white and green scheme, since my MIL has a collection of Beleek teapots.
I have made this before, but due to the size of the party, this time I must make three. Therefore, I must start in advance! I am wondering if anyone here can give me advice, or hints, or links. How far in advance can I bake the cakes? Can I freeze them? How long would they take to thaw if I did that?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Emmie |
