I like this one but there's no fruit: TRES LECHES 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk 12 oz can evaporated milk 1 cup heavy cream Topping: Preheat oven to 350°. Beat the eggs until foamy. Gradually add the sugar. Add the flour mixed with baking powder.\, the milk & vanilla. Pour into an ungreased 13x9" pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool the cake & then poke holes with a fork all over the cake. Mix the condensed milk, evaporated milk & cream. Pour the mixture slowly over the cake until absorbed.

I've wanted to try Tres Leches cake but was told by two women of Mexican descent that it is VERY, VERY sweet, which they said in a tone that suggested it's TOO sweet to them. Has anyone tried it that concurs with that? Jen

The one I make is sweet but I don't think it's tooooo sweet but if you don't like very sweet desserts it's probably not for you.
