I like this one but there's no fruit:
    TRES LECHES
    3 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 cup milk
    1 tsp vanilla
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
    12 oz can evaporated milk
    1 cup heavy cream

    Topping:
    3 egg whites
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350°. Beat the eggs until foamy. Gradually add the sugar. Add the flour mixed with baking powder.\, the milk & vanilla. Pour into an ungreased 13x9" pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool the cake & then poke holes with a fork all over the cake. Mix the condensed milk, evaporated milk & cream. Pour the mixture slowly over the cake until absorbed.
To make the topping, beat the egg whites, sugar & vanilla until foamy. Spread over the cake. Refrigerate until serving time.~~ Celebrate Miami

I've wanted to try Tres Leches cake but was told by two women of Mexican descent that it is VERY, VERY sweet, which they said in a tone that suggested it's TOO sweet to them. Has anyone tried it that concurs with that?

The one I make is sweet but I don't think it's tooooo sweet but if you don't like very sweet desserts it's probably not for you.
