LOOKING for: Shamrock cookies

I’m trying to make some form of St. Patrick’s day cookie for my daughter. I have a package of Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix. I don’t have time today to make them from scratch. I don’t have a shamrock cut out (I thought I did!). I thought of rolling 3 balls and putting them together but I expect they will get puffy and flow together. This particular dough, which I have used before, rises.

Any ideas? The best thing I have come up with is to just make rounds, after baking to glaze them and dust green sugar through a shamrock shaped cut out in a sheet of paper.

I won’t do green frosting; for some reason that does not appeal to me. I saw lots of treats in the grocery store bakery yesterday but the bright colors were unappetizing.
