My ancient husband is having flashbacks to his youth when his mother made a cake or dessert named "Pink Lady".
The cake seems to have been made with sliced jellyroll and some gelatine fluffy cream mixture in the center.
I would like to make this concoction for his birthday next month and would appreciate any help for this Birthday surprise cake.

I had googled for this particular dessert before i had posted but could not find anything that resembled it. Maybe the problem is that it is a recipe that was popular more than fifty years ago.
