I googled both of the and they'll be fine together, two very good pieces of furniture. I prefer a mix myself.

The problem I see is that the leather of the chesterfield and the walnut top are so much the same that the Portia comes off a little bland so you'll need to spice it up and break it up with your next layer. By the way, we have the Portia in our ski house and have really enjoyed it.

mojomom -- thank you for posting pics (I just could not figure out how to do that). Good point about the table being a little bland. Question for you -- when you mention the next layer, you mean the things I choose like lamps and side tables and other side pieces?

If it means anything, the Chesterfield will be at the short end of a rectangular living room with table in the sort of NW corner.

They will work well together. Love the look of the sofa. Once you add in your other elements, it should look great! Have fun with that.

What dining chairs are you thinking about? Also, have you sat in the PB Chesterfield sofa?

nosoccermom -- good question -- I like the Bellini chairs on the Room&board website (sorry -- I just cannot figure out how to extract a photo from the site) mostly because they're easy to clean and stackable, but not wedded to them. And I will try to find a PB showroom where I can sit on the sofa -- good point.
