I wanted to add that the green is a bit washed out in the photos. It is brighter and crisper IRL, but still a soothing green as a back drop to the bright accessories.

It looks wonderful, Kimberly! I love the colors and punches of red in there. Very cheerful and playful.

Wonderful room - you did a great job! My boys rms. are going to be blue, brown & red & one of the ways that I wanted to introduce red was in a bedside table for one boy & a bookshelf for the other. Your bureau has helped realize that I'm on the right track.

Hmm, I just realized. Didn't you re-paint their room a softer blue after the original bright blue?

Squirrel- you have a good memory;) That room you are remembering is my older boys' room. I plan to post a new picture of that as soon as I could. Today was a delayed opening due to ice, so there were toys everywhere...LOL.

I painted the dresser and nightstand in that room as well. Yes, I changed the paint color, but still do not love it.

I have not yet had my baby girl. She is due in January. Just painted her room Diminutive pink, as recommended by another gardenweb member. I like it a lot...the actual color is the C2 formula of SW diminutive paint. I still need to order the bedding...pink and green paisley. Right now, the room just looks PINK...lol.
