That's a beautiful room. I really like the wall colors, the blue and grey look great together. However the flooring really caught my eye. I love the lighter accent color in the wood yet it doesn't make the floor look busy. Very interesting. Would you share what type of floor it is?

maire_cate the floor is natural American cherry. It has changed colors dramatically since we moved in as it darkens w/ sun, but we love it. However, it is very soft and it scratches/dents if you look at it the wrong way. We have approximately 8,000,000 scratches from dogs running on it over the past two years. The good thing is, it is hard to see the scratches unless you are looking...
