Chandelier height

Here's the old chandelier. The very bottom is 32" from the table. The bottom of the arms is 34-3/4". (I told someone in another thread the wrong dimensions, sorry!)

Here's the new one. I thought standard was 30-34 inches above the table. 30" seems so low. Thoughts about what height to use?

Hey Sheeshare - recommended height is about 32". Of course nobody can tell you where or how to hang YOUR chandelier but I needed some direction on the size, type, and distance. pretty much everything, luckily I found a video where the guy measured and walked me through measuring so I could find the recommended size and placement. Hope this Helps!

I think your old one looks a bit high, so I would drop the new one a bit.

30" from table top to lowest point on chandy...or 5' from the floor.

I think 30 is too low too. Mine is 36", a little high. 34" sounds good.
