I can vouch for Lambert et Fils pipdog. I've been to their studio in Montreal and have two lamps from them. Beautiful, high quality, small, independent retailer. They have a distributor in LA now if you're on the west coast.

It looks unlike any sputnik or branched chandelier (a la Lindsey Adelman) I've ever seen. Kind of three horizontal sputniks with the main attachment to the ceiling like several wires. Check out Adelman branched chandeliers.

I'm also considering this light for over my dining room table (which is open to our kitchen that will have two pendants). We have vaulted ceilings that are 17 feet in height at the top so I need a fixture that can work on sloped ceilings. I am not sure if a Sputnik is going to work in my space, but this fixture can, and our architect is pushing this fixture for our space. It's a little more contemporary and less MCM than I'd like (and definitely pricier than some of the others we're looking at), but I'm sort of digging it. What do you guys think?
