Hi! I have read these forums for years and could use your great decorating help :). I need to replace the carpet in our living room. The laminate in the rest of our downstairs is Northern Birch by Armstrong. It has no longer been made for about 4 years now. I have searched the country for 8 more boxes but no luck. Would you: 1. Just put in carpet again. If yes, could it have a subtle pattern? 2. Go with a dark laminate since there isn't an exact match to the existing laminate available. I would love more laminate with just an area rug! Problems are a bad doggy that ate a corner of the existing carpet and a baby grand piano that will have to be moved for installation. We will also be adding molding to the windows and painting the banister darker top with white spindles too. Our upstairs is going to be a walnut color laminate throughout the hallway, master and another bedroom. Thanks for your help and ideas!
