So far, so good. That's the table open. Here it is as a coffee table.

It also works as a tall 1/2 table (how else to explain). Don't have a clue where it will end up in my house but for now-Christmas!

Wow! I had a friend (when I was in grade school) whose parents had a table like that. It was always a coffee table when I was there. I had no idea it expanded.

We have a table we bought that opens up and works as a console-half table or a square dining or game table. It's a great table to have -- and mine doesn't even do the coffee table! I think you'll enjoy having that one. Have fun!

I don't think I've heard "Castro Convertible" since I was a kid in the 60's.. lol....cool table!

I worked at Castro Convertibles when they were first opening the Tampa store in 1969 or 70?

Those tables were big sellers back then.
