Thanks for the help! Funny, DH gave me very little imput last year when I updated the kitchen, same for the bathroom, but when I comes to dishes all he can say is he doesn't like the polka dots....does anyone have another suggestion?

Our mugs came from one of our favorite art galleries. The artist has taken 4 of his paintings and had the transfers made and is selling mugs. It makes me happy to drink my coffee every morning from one of my arty mugs.

Companies such as Otagiri also make many designs in mugs. You can find Otagiri mugs on eBay, etsy, and other websites.

Polka dots for sure! Your DH will get used to them and he probably doesn't really care so much anyway. As long as it doesn't leak, he will be satisfied (just guessing).

Turns out DH really hates the idea of poka dot cups.....not sure why, since I don't remember him ever telling me that he doesn't like something I told him I really like. Today wasn't just thanksgiving, it's our anniversary too (31 years). My new idea for mugs are these....the two colors on the outside match exactly, the insides will be brown? Maybe black.

I'm surprised my original pictures aren't here! I wanted to show you the mug I bought to go with my set, I'm enjoying them so much. My friends husband actually looked at the bottom of the mug and was surprised they aren't from the same company. I decided not to go with the mugs DH hated, so kept looking until I found these....so glad I did too.
