White or wood tone 2'Cordless Wood Blinds

I'm getting closer to making a decision, I plan to order a cordless wood blind for inspection. Newly released Graber cordless woods are being made with routeless, (no holes) not sure if this is a good thing or not. I wanted routeless but I don't want my blinds slats shifting.
From outside my house the window frames are not white, so I'm hoping white blinds do not look too stark on the front of my house. I seem to prefer white woods since we worked so hard to replace the oak trim and floors that were in here a year ago. The wood blind( cognac) resembles more of an oak color, and is a great match to the stain color but does not match the cherry floors. Would you like white or cognac 2" wood blinds?? I may order 24 of these, one for every window in the house. Think I'm making a mistake??
Thanks for your color opinions. The bedroom windows are still trimmed in oak and they will stay that way.

WHITE!!!! I think mixing too many "wood" colors is just going to end up looking too competitive. Your cupboards, floor and then your windows? Just too much. White would be beautiful in your home and keep things a little brighter as it looks like you don't have much sunlight coming in.

I agree white will match the white outside trim while accenting the window wood trim.

Take a look at the website below and pretend you're looking at blinds and not shutters. I came this close to getting the darker shutters because they are just beautiful, and no many people do that.

When you get to this page, click on "Gallery." You can see how the darker wood blinds look fantastic with white trim.

Here is a link that might be useful: Shutters

I can just imagine the dust that would show on dark blinds, just for that reason alone I would go white.

WHITE!!! I vote white! I have always been a big fan of white window treatments because they go with everything. In my last home I had 2" white wooden blinds in every single room and it looked uniform and fabulous, fresh, and clean.

And I agree with the post above about too many different wood tones clashing.
