Gardenweb has truly become my go-to for everything! Just finished a kitchen remodel and could not have done it without the kitchen forum, appliance forum etc. And my heart belongs to the rose forum. But this question is for you wise souls. I ordered a new sofa. It arrives next week. (Haven't told my DH yet but that is another post!) I'd like to sell my current sofa on Craigslist but I have no idea how to price it or what is reasonable. I have only bought/ sold one or two things over the years. It is a good upper mid range sofa from Michael Thomas- with spring down seat cushions and down back cushions. Excellent condition. I hate parting with it and had considered having it reupholstered for a new look but (ironically) it was less expensive to buy a new sofa! Always in a formal living room. Was a couple thousand new. Is there a percentage? What is fair? 500? Thank you.
