I just finished my first scan of the book and I am overjoyed with it. I've seen every episode of television from Sarah Richardson and I love being able to see some of the details of some of the rooms up close. I particularly love the way the full room photographs were printed so that they show both the ceiling and the floor. It's much easier to feel as though you are standing in the room as a result, which allows you to appreciate the interplay of patterns, color and scale. I wish all shelter magazines would adopt this style of photographs.

Now, I will go back and read all of the design notes that Sarah included with each room. It's always interesting to me to hear what designers have to say about their work.

I'm glad to hear a good review of the book because I have it on my Christmas list. She is one of my favorite designers.

Yes, she is pretty awesome!!! I would also like to hear more from Tommy. Both have so much talent and a good eye.

Wish I had her talent for mixing fabrics. Love most everything she does. Her book is on my Christmas list along with Ina Garten's new cookbook.

I hope you like Ina Garten's new cookbook. I was really disappointed with it, so disappointed that I returned it. There just were not enough recipes that would work for my family and friends and the make-ahead concept wasn't really all that make-ahead. I love all of her other cookbooks and have never made one of her recipes that wasn't successful, albeit with a reduction of salt as I must have a more salt-sensitive palate than she does.

Just got my copy of Sarah Style...A quick glance says I'm going to enjoy curling up with this book.

I DO wish there were photos of her farmhouse reno in it. That's my favorite.

I admire those of you waiting until Christmas. I'm not that patient. :)
