How about a very pale blue instead?

For the ceiling, I would have SW cut the wall color 50% or more.
Have you looked at examples on houzz.com? I've linked one room below and the designer says she uses 1 qt of wall color to 1 gallon of ceiling paint.

You might also consider using lighter colored liners in the pot lights.
