Lv Rm - need Help! new furniture need to make it work/colors?

I recently bought some new living room furniture (from fabric swatches) and once I got it home I loved the two sitting chairs but not the sofa - it seems too gold. I can't return as was custom. Please help me make this room work! I am disappointed with myself for buying expensive furniture and not liking it. The room opposite this is dining room SW rainwashed - I put pic in album with the furniture in there for comparison purposes
I love blues, greens and I want this room to be relaxing and light- no dark colors.
please can you help me...throw pillows- color? paint - color and window treatments. Paint swatch behind couch is currently SW Filmy Green. Please help - I'm going nuts trying to "fix" this rooom. Thanks!!

Oh no....I think the sofa is a wonderful tone! Not too dark at all. I love the way it's the same tone (or pretty similar) to the leaves on the chairs. I was really expecting something awful...not wonderful lol!

I think you did very well. Paint can be changed if you feel it needs tweaking since the sofa is different that what you pictured.

I like the blue paint sample too. Why not start painting? I think it'll be a great looking room. Sometimes we experience what I call "happy mistakes"! I had that happen once with wood blinds. I stupidly ordered the wrong color (# problem) and they probably looked a lot better than what I had meant to order lol.

I think the sofa (and everything else....) looks great! I do like the blue on the wall...it's just a bit too 'baby blue' for me personally but maybe it's the camera flash. Is it the same color you have in the DR? I even like your DR drapes with the LR furniture.

I think it's absolutely beautiful and I love the couch color! I'm so partial to light colors that I consider medium tones 'too dark' and I don't think your couch is too dark at all. I think everything coordinates beautifully...it all looks $$$$ and classy! I like the current wall color with the furniture but love the blue as well. Give yourself a couple of days and you'll love the couch as well!

yes, it needs to be all drawn together with a blue but I would go a bit more muted to the sagey side of blue. blue can sometimes end up looking too too blue. But a blue is a great choice and it will look very pretty, all of it. good luck. I also like the idea of putting a bit of the blue in your ceiling color to to make it all serene looking and not broken up by a white ceiling staring out at you.

I think once the walls are painted you will be in love with your furniture. I like the color of the blue swatch that you have painted above the sofa.
