help with table cloth

I have a very cool holiday table cloth that I'd like to use this year. It's vinyl with the flannel backing and it's brand new in the package. What is the trick to getting it to lay flat and get rid of the creases left from being folded up? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

I throw mine in the dryer with a damp cloth and let it toss for a few minutes.

I don't know how or why, but my holiday vinyl cloths seem to go crease-free on their own after being on the table for a day or two. I've never put them in the dryer but makes sense that would work also.
