If you have a continuous rod that spans each of those angles (angle or joined rod), I would use the wider panel so you don't see the open sides of each panel at the corner. No matter how you pull or arrange, you'll see the sides and maybe a glimpse of the wall behind. With the full width panel, you will see only fabric.

Thanks andee. I was thinking the same too but since I've never done this before, I wasn't absolutely sure. It will be nice to have something up on the windows for privacy, blackout, and warmth.

I did a variation of this when I had two windows so close to each other on one wall that it made no sense to make two pairs of draperies. So I mounted one continuous rod over both windows, then hung a single panel at each end, and a double-width panel in the middle. With the folds, you don't realized it is one panel, but if the panels were divided, I think it would be obvious and not in a good way.
