My first post here!
We're thinking about having our couch and loveseat recovered and having the back repadded and tufted so that we can dispose of the giant pillows that are there now (and which are always falling off).

You might be able to see the cloth swatches on the topmost couch. These are the potential colors my wife chose.

As a fellow with conservative tastes, the easiest choice for me would be to pick the swatch that most matches the existing color of the couch.

But what about the other choices?

Am I right in thinking the lightest swatch would be too close to the color of the carpet?

Any other ideas or insights?

P.S. The color of the walls is slightly more orange than the picture reveals.

P.P.S. The current plan is to remove the dark wood trim, so there would be no need to coordinate the color of the cloth with the color of the wood.
