I would also go to Circa Lighting and Rejuvenation and search their sconces. Lastly, depending on the rest of the room, if she is going vintage industrial, she should look at Radio Days, Remains, Etsy and Skinflint UK

Ideally, the seller would offer a matching sconce.

If not, perhaps just a simple metal half-cylinder wall washer in the same finish as the ceiling fixture.

I am a firm believer in dimmers, especially in places like the dining room.

Oh yes, forgot to answer re dimmers. I dim EVERYTHING. We all know how lighting can make colors look totally different; why wouldn't you want maximum control over lighting to optimize how your room (and you) looks?
