If you were to hang it in the stairway would it be in a place where you would be able to enjoy it without looking up? That would be a huge part in my decision anyway.

I would need to be on the stairs or coming down the stairs to see it. Given that the master is on the first floor, I would only get to appreciate it when I go up to the kids' rooms, but I do that pretty often. No sitting and gazing at it, though.

How abou the PH50 in chili red or wasabi green for the kitchen? (Just got a Danish catalog today, drooling over that one, may have to completely redecorate to accommodate it)

Ooh, that wasabi green is a great color. I'm a sucker for the all white ones, probably because that's the first I ever saw. There's no love like first love :-)
