Finally a CL score! And who says it just has junk?

I've been trolling CL for months now for a new coffee table. I wanted a round one to complement my sectional. The one I had just wasn't working, it was rectangular and oversized and looking pretty shabby thanks to my kids.

I saw a really unique one in Ballard designs but didn't want to spend the money or the shipping fees. I saw this same table in a decorating magazine, but just couldn't bring myself to pay so much on a coffee table. So I've been looking in antique stores and CL for something round like the one from Ballard.

Well yesterday, there it was. The exact coffee table I wanted from Ballard (only this one was from West Elm) for a fraction of the price! I emailed the seller and got a response within an hour. And just a few hours later, it's in my living room.

Most of the time I find nothing, but sometimes you really do score with CL!

fivefootzero, sometimes I have problems viewing the images even if I'm signed in. I right click the image and hit view image and for some reason after that, it and all the images pop up.
Worth a try.
Nice table, great find. Our CL isn't all junk but I've seen some posts that are enough to scare you!

Congrads on a great find. I am waiting on a call back from a lady that posted some chairs I would love to have for my breakfast room. If I can get them I will save about eight hundred dollars. Fingers crossed!

Nice CL score. We have a pretty good selection in our area. I love Craigslist and buy and sell all time. I just read the story of a father who was shot in front of his son up in S. Los Angeles, they were answering a CL ad. Scary stuff.

Yay! Good for you. I had a similar experience recently. I looked at the photos of a house sale happening near me. I saw a fireplace screen that looked like it might work, so I drove over and within half an hour, it was sitting at my fireplace!
