You may remember the question about mirror choice for the foyer. This is what I went with, the one with the Wedgwood on top because it plays better with the chandelier.

Mantel. Feel like I made a big mistake with the mirror choice in the mantel, but it's too expensive to correct now. The mirror was so heavy that it tore off the drywall even with reinforcements, and now has been fastened to the wall with a lot of measuring, hanging, rehanging, adjusting, etc because the stud location didn't allow for a straight look. So I don't want to go through the ordeal of having the handyman come back and patch up the holes he had to make in the first place. So please help me accessorize the mantel to work with the mirror. Thanks

Wet bar which is doubling as DH's coffee bar. He had to be exiled to the wet bar because not enough counter space in this kitchen.

Your house is very nice. May I comment on things? I would like to see only the lamp and the basket of flowers on the hall table..Mirror looks great, but if possible could be a little lower. (Glass wrought iron tables like the hall one and coffee table one are my very favorite.) On the fireplace, I like the flowers and maybe would like the tall glass with glass beads (the one on your hall table) on the other side. You have too many little things...while pretty...just don't rest your eyes. Living room and keeping room are perfect...so comfortable looking. In your dining room the mural is gorgeous but it feels too wide for the chest under it....could you put a tall tree like plant on the floor to give it more presence? I envy you your new house.

Grandmaof3, thanks for the suggestions. I have two tall topiaries I could put on either side of the sideboard to help anchor the wider tapestry. Good suggestion. I'll play with the other arrangements too and see what works better.
