Trumeau Mirror for Basement Bathroom!

So I walked into a shop, and there it was.....a great mirror tall enough for a mostly full length view that was perfect for our downstairs renovated bathroom! There was the small problem of already having purchased a set of four pencil drawing botanical prints matted in burlap from Bliss and in fact they were actually hung on the wall right where the mirror wanted to live, but----- well, I took them down and they are waiting patiently in the decorative accessories graveyard. The mirror fit perfectly, has an actual USE, and the print above the mirror part is of sepia toned grazing sheep!

The other problem is that the green and yellow matted in burlap prints above the bench suddenly seemed like just too, too much and I took them down too so I could breathe better. (They made a speedy transition to an upstairs hall bath in a kind of raid on Entebbe mini makeover, a one day project, see other thread.)

I love having an almost full length mirror downstairs and like the calmer feel of no prints.

It's perfect. Look how it is reflected by the runner. You have such good luck just walking into a shop!

I love how the greens connect and also make you pause a bit. Green towels, ooh pretty bench! Green rug, OMG I love those floors! Green mirror, gorgeous!

Thanks! I am glad everyone likes it! Even ID likes it :-) I sent him a picture and he was very complimentary. He chose the wallpaper and bench, but I did the rest of the bath myself--- it wasn't really included in the scope of work when we started. I had already planned the brick floor and to paint the vanity red and to tile the vanity alcove with mini subway tiles and to put a round copper mirror above the vanity. Love how it's all come together. He did tell me to lose the yellow cotton tassels, though.....I know he's probably right, but I bought them decades ago in North Carolina and even though the tassel thing was probsbly over when I bought them I've been saving them so long I would really like to see them used. Maybe I'll hot glue a sprig of holly on the wooden top and call them Christmas ornaments....
