Mine is burgundy on the outside (which is going to be changed) and the same color as my trim on the inside. I've seen some spaces that bring front door color inside, but I don't think it would work for my living room.

It may depend on the type of door, and if the door opens into a hall/foyer or straight into a room. I have a center hall, and the third door opens into an enclosed porch.
