In my opinion it is. It needs more room on the areas going around the table. Seems like the minimum pass through with chairs is something like 3 feet, which doesn't happen on either of the long sides of the table. Drat!

Looks like that space would do well with a round table.

I don't see how people will get in and out of their chairs, especially if someone on the inside has to get by someone who's already seated....

That's what I thought. Thanks. I love round tables but it would have to be a tiny round table to work in this room and that wouldn't work for me.

I agree that once you are seated in the middle along the wall, that person would be kinda stuck -but you can plan who you seat there, so that wouldn't bother me so much. If you want or need an 8 seat table this would work for Thanksgiving and the occasional party. For daily use you may want a 4 seater with a leaf.

what does bother me is the distance from the cornered wall. I would push the table down a half foot at least away from the void to make that a proper walk thru.
