So, I got a card in the mail from anthro. It was redeemable for a $25 donation to DonorsChoose.

I hadn't heard of Donors Choose, but it basically allows public school teachers to post projects they'd like to fund for their classes (audited by the charity).

It's really cool. You can search by area, need, type of grant, ages, etc etc. You can donate as little or as much as you want. I used the $25 and then decided to add on to fund a whole project (I am sure they count on that, but hey).

Anyway, kudos to Anthro (whose clothes and housewares I already love), for the idea.
