Whats the latest color trends

Dumb question, but I have a VERY large area to be painted and don't want to make a goof. My floor plan is very open and one that once you start painting you must keep going...great room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast. There are absolutely no stopping points. Sounds impossible, but true. I'd like to do an accent wall, but that opens up whole second can of worms because of stop and start points.

What color family is popular now for interior walls?....golds, greens, blues, orange/terracotta? I love grays but don't really work for me. I lean toward the gold or terracotta, but unsure. I'm worried of picking something and it be dated in a year or 2. I could go with a simple beige or white tone, but I want color. My furniture would work with any of the families mentioned.

I have a lot of natural light filtering in, high ceilings, and angles. Thank you!

i like creamy color not quite yellow or gold
my favorite is antique white looks a bit like the custard in
coconut cream pie..........looks good with both stain and white trim

Surely you have a sofa color, counter color or flooring color that would//would not determine what color to use. I never worry about what color is trending, but what color I can use with my flooring, furnishing, draperies, and countertops, etc. Choose what you like and go to town. I think what is dated is using something you will tire of.

I want more color. I have the creamy now. Patricia any of the color families I mentiond would work based on cabinet, counters, furniture and flooring. Well, maybe not the blues since I'm more tropical than coastal (live in Florida). You're right....go with what I like, but I like golds, oranges, and greens. Didn't know if one or the other was more trendy or ready to flop more than the other

The trend I am witnessing is more color and much bolder. The all "neutral" and whites are less prevalent in the shelter rags lately so I think greens and oranges that are less muddy than they were 10 years ago and brighter would be on trend now. But it really needs to work with you, your other finishes and you house or trendy or not it will not work at all.

If you have a lot of natural light streaming in, I'd go with a bold, deeper neutral, and then get your color via decor, drapes, etc.

Something like BM Iron Gate.
