OK, so I went over to this girls apartment and decided to buy the sofa. She pointed out the free TV that was also listed in the ad. I had planned to decline the TV, because I thought it would be rather ancient with antenna's. Surprisingly, it was a nice looking 26" with a very good picture. Not a flat screen, but a very nice extra TV for a den or basement room.

When we were taking the TV off of the stand, the girl said, "oh, you can have that too"...the TV stand...WOW!

So, for $50, we got a couch, a TV and a piece of furniture.

Here is the loot. I cleaned the cushions and have them off airing. They were not dirty, but I just felt better doing it. See the full sofa in the Target link.

I don't think she was the type. I felt really sorry for her. She was moving to Connecticut and clearly didn't want to leave. She said she had to move. She was driving and could only take what was in her small hatch back car. She even offered us a kitchen table and chairs, and a microwave. The table and chairs were the ugly metal post type, and we didn't need a microwave.

I felt bad enough taking what we did for only $50!
