Hello! My family is building a new house, and I am stuck on planning window treatments for the great room. There is a sliding glass door, with two windows on either side. We need to provide privacy as this is open to the street. We plan on installing top-down/bottom-up honeycomb shades on the windows. The problem is I need to put something in for privacy over the sliding glass door! I'd like to avoid the sliding honeycomb shade for the door. Here are my two thoughts.
1. Hang four curtain panels on one rod - one on the far left, one one each side of the slider, and one on the far right.
2. Hang two curtain panels on either side of the slider, and just do valances over the windows, all hung at the same height.
