MCM illustration

I found this link by accident and just love the illustrations. I admit to being an MCM junkie, have some of the furnishings (want more) and would love, love, love to find the right house for it all. I don't think there's anything in here I didn't drool over except the garage (patchwork color) and the acoustic tile ceiling. I did think it was funny that the ad for plywood was mostly glass!

Thanks for sharing.....some of it really is timeless, some is pretty funny.

My mom had turquoise appliances and we always had Frigidaire refrigerators....but not too many....they lasted for years.

Haha!!! The one where the three ladies are looking up at the horrible tiled ceiling in those beautiful evening dresses is super funny!

No, but really some were awesome and beautiful.

Even if the appearance of the garage wasn't a turn off, asbestos cement sheets?!!!! Scary stuff.

Mid-century was the dated stuff of my childhood, so it took me a while to get over that. But I've come to appreciate well-made mid-century furniture and design.
