I live on one of the top floors of a multistory building in an urban setting with office buildings and such directly across from me. I have roller shades with a 10% openness factor solar screen on them. They are excellent in providing daytime privacy but am wondering how effective they are in providing privacy in the evenings when its dark outside but full of light inside. It's hard for me to tell because I can't stand outside and view in.

It's nice to keep them down in the evenings even if there is no sun because I am still able to get somewhat of a view and also no worry so much about privacy from the building across from me.

Does anyone with solar shades similar to what I have know if privacy is a concern with the shades kept down? Do you know if everything will be a blur from the outside no matter how much light fills the room?
