| My DD (8) wants to change her pink room to a turquoise. She loves the color of this room but I can't find the name of the color anywhere. I know it's hard to determined but can anyone give me a color that may be very close? |

| I think if you have a paint store or big box store nearby the easiest thing to do would be to print out the picture and compare it to chips in your preferred paint brand. Sherwin Williams also has a free application called Chip It, where you can upload a picture and they will match it to a Sherwin Williams chip. |

| Looking quickly through the BM paint deck, it looks pretty close to Athenian Blue or Hawaiian Breeze. Personally, I'd try to tone it down just a bit, maybe something like Aspen Skies or Blue Bay Marina. |

| I dont have time to look but I think SW or BM has an iphone or android app that tells you their closest color from an image. |

| I tried it anyway, it is called SW Colorsnap. When I click on different areas of the wall it gives different color names. SW 6779 Liquid Blue SW6220 Interesting Aqua (This one looks closest on my ipad screen) SW6487 Cloudburst Interesting app.. I want to go home and take pics of my walls now and see how close it gets... |

| Thanks everyone and I love that app! I too may have to go home and play. Right now we have narrowed the colors to SW Swimming, BM Turquoise Mist and BM Dolphin Cove. |

| I just painted a bathroom in SW Interesting Aqua 6220 that meelye thought might be your color and it is nowhere near as dark or aqua as what is showing in your room pic. It is lighter and shows more blue/light aqua IRL than turquoise. |

| Here's the pic...lovely color for a girl....reminds me of when I had a turquoise bedroom when I was a young-un.

| If you want to recreate the look of that room with window coverings that match the paint it would be a good idea to find the fabric first, then get the paint color matched. |
