I just saw a fabulous yellow and grey at Hobby Lobby......i will try to get a name. It was less " cute" than any of the fabrics you showed, and really nice.

I'm so happy Secondhalf started this thread. Finding yellow and gray fabric has been on my back burner.

I didn't know Hobby Lobby sold fabric. One opened near me but I have yet to go in.

Most of these are from Premier Fabrics and can easily be found at discount prices. If you click on the pictures it will give you additional information. Premiere Fabrics is a good line for inexpensive, modern takes in fun color ways.:

AnnieD- I also like that last one you posted and hadn't thought of Calico Corner (we don't have them in the Northeast I don't think) - thanks so much for those leads!!

Springroz- so nice of you! And we don't have hobby lobby here either so I will check their online stock.

TheFoxesPad- those fabrics are gorgeous. I just discovered premier prints last night and I love their designs, but their yellows are too intense for the look. Those pinterest links to fabric guru are beautiful and I will go back there and look.

Keep looking at the Premier. Their colorways change quite a bit from season to season often muting or dialing up the intensity of the colorway. It seems that the current crop has the bright yellows like the 1st 3 that I posted. I noticed a more subdued yellow/ grey colorway on the discount fabric sites. MaybI think it was referred to as Sunny Natural.

I'm in the northeast and we have calico corners here.

If you are near west Springfield, MA, then you are in luck as Osgood Textiles has an enormous selection of reasonably priced fabrics...I mean when I took Mom there, she started hyperventilating!

Annie- I'm in RI but have travelled all over Massachusetts ten times over in my quest for marble and soapstone, so I guess I can do the same thing for fabric, which is just as important!! Thanks for the info on Osgood.

FoxesPad- I will keep looking at premier- they do such great designs.

Please note the owners are very religious so are closed on Saturday but open Sunday...

If you are going to start driving around, then you need to start at Zimman's in Lynn, MA. Not a great town overall, but the store is worth visiting.
