I would say it would depend on what else is in your room. What colors is your trim, etc? I would probably use a color that would not overpower the beautiful pumpkin butter and something that might sit easily with other elements, like a natural hemp color.

Thanks for all the responses They were very helpful. The couch is a wine color, the trim is white, and tables are dark mahogany.

Would it be possible to find curtains that match your couch? A nice deep brown might look nice too, depending on how the paint color reads in your home and lighting situation.
