Bernhardt furniture?

I had a free hour with some decorators. As the first meeting, this was just a "get to know you" session but they did mention they like to use Bernhardt furniture. I found some old GW threads that suggest Hancock and Moore instead -- but nothing actually saying Bernhardt is not worth it. There are some nice things on the Bernhardt website but overall I probably like the things that lean towards "country." I guess I wanted to get a check on whether what these folks suggest is likely to be any good. Anyone care to share opinions on Bernhardt furniture?

I have three pieces of the Martha Stewart by Barnhardt line (now discontinued). Bought ten years ago and we have been pleased, though planning to sell some that doesn't work with our new decor.

I would say that their quality is slightly better than Pottery Barn. I believe they still make everything in the U.S.A., but you would have to double-check that.
