I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea, but since they were in such good shape, for the price I figured I couldn't go wrong. I need to figure out what to use as a table or even tables now. I like Jan's original idea of a picnic legged trestle table. I'm not sure how stained wood would look with the booths, but maybe a painted table/tables? Or maybe a painted base, with stainless tops. I've also even considered doing retro looking formica tables since I'm working with a lot of older items in the kitchen.

To give a feel where I'm going, some of the colors I'm bringing in are jadite and most likely red, along with the black and white. I bought these not to long ago, I love the old woman and the shoe cookie jar! :)

The stove, which has red glass behind the knobs that light up when in use. Plus little touches of red in the clock, light, backsplash area.

Lyban, the stove is an original. It's a vintage Tappan Deluxe that's been restored and has had a safety valve put on it, so there is no chance of a gas leak with it.
