My table is just like this but stained in walnut.

BM Sandyhook Gray is a gray with a taupe/greenish cast that is quite lovely, and would probably be a good compliment to your kitchen counters. Very calming color.

I think BM Gray Mirage would look nice. Another favorite color of mine is BM Manchester Tan. It seems to go with everything. What colors do you like?

Can we see a picture of your kitchen since it connects to this room. Wouldn't want to recommend anything that clashes with your kitchen paint or décor.

Here's the kitchen. The paint color is looking greener and greener everyday. It's actually beige with a green undertone.

I'm a big fan of "boring beige." I tend to gravitate towards neutrals. The living room/dining room color choice was me 'going to the wild side' and choosing color. I'm just tired of SW Restrained Gold.

Have you thought about using the same color that's in your kitchen? If you want something different, you could go with a couple shades lighter or darker than what's in your kitchen. You can always add pops of color with your accessories. Nothing wrong with beige paint :)

I can never pick colors out of the blue, (no pun intended) but need an inspiration piece to give me a direction...be it either a pic from a magazine, a piece of art, a vase, very often fabric I'll use in the space, or once, even the color of my cat's eyes. But once I have a color direction, all the other choices are so much easier. Not only that, but it will often take me in directions that I'd normally never ever go with surprisingly good results.

Have you thought about getting a color inspiration first?
