That's a beautiful print! I think 30,000 double rubs is considered heavy duty. I would not hesitate using it for your chair & ottoman.

I've used Duralee fabric in the past & feel their quality is excellent.

As Holly mentioned, please post pics when finished. It would also be fun to see a before pic, too.

If possible, ask the upholsterer to save the extra leftover fabric & give to you when you pick it up. You never know how much may be leftover. Maybe enough to make a small accent pillow?

Some people like to have extra fabric made into arm protectors...not sure what they are called. If it's an arm chair where your hands rest, the oils from your hands can discolor the fabric over the years.

Also, if the chair is near a window, close the drape or shade during times of the day where sunlight may affect it.
