I am in need of assistance in the correct light to put in my hallway. My builder needed a quick last minute decision on hallway lighting, which was originally supposed to be 2 lights centered in the ceiling, which is around 12 feet long. Well, the problem came up that the attic access was preventing a ceiling light on one end of the hallway, so the builder suggested doing a sconce above the 2 doorways on each end of the hall. I didn't have time to deal with the question and now am regretful that the wiring has been done. So, my question is, what type of sconce or light would you suggest placing above a doorway that is not going to look awful?
