Desperately need ideas for our powder room walls.

We want to remodel our downstairs powder room, as it has no 'wow' appeal. It's very small in size. Since we have a few extra boxes of Karndean flooring (what we used throughout our downstairs), we're thinking of tearing out the existing, dated tile and replace it with the Kardean. Below is the picture that initially inspired me. I love it, but I'm wondering how the white stone and sink will tie in with wood-like, cherry-colored floors. Or should I opt for the ivory quartz, and have an off-white concrete sink?

Final question:
How would you suggest we finish the existing walls: paint, wall paper; color???

Thanks so much in advance for your advice. I'm really stumped by this, and my husband just gives me 'the go' to do with it as I choose.
