I got it!! Now what color to paint the headboard?

| Also how much do I have to sand or rough up the finish so it will accept the paint?
I paid the lady $50 for a solid wood headboard made in Mexico.
Now colors:
Looked at Behr paint and some Benjamin Moore.
Behr: Snowy Pine, Powdered Snow or Creamy White
BM: Simply White, Cloud White or Bavarian Cream
Any other suggestions?
The real finish right now is more honey colored. I am leaning toward a cream color

| Do I but a matte or eggshell finish? How much paint would you think I should buy - a quart or a gallon or two quarts? Thanks. |

| I can't really help with color (I'm so bad at that), but if it were me, I'd use semi-gloss and I think a quart will be plenty. |

| Nice headboard. How many inches high? Wondering if you're moving the bed from in front of the window, since the headboard appears pretty high (at least on my monitor). |

| Sand it lightly, all over, with 150 grit sandpaper. Wipe the sanding dust off THOROUGHLY ... Two coats of paint, or three. |

Started priming headboard tonight

It's looking good so far. The paint guy at HD recommended a good primer even if I was buying the ultra paint. I did some sanding first, then primed tonight (still have to do the back of the piece). I decided on the Creamy White by Behr. I just thought it was a pretty color. I will post when I get the headboard in the room.
