Or should it just shut up and do its job.
Kitchen window has a beautiful view to the west but the sun is bleaching my walnut windowsill. One idea is to do a bamboo shade and the other idea is to make some wacky roman shades to got with my Istanbul whorehouse vibe. Here is an idea of the kitchen so far. Can't get a picture showing the window because the lighting is so bad.
Please advise. I can make the roman shade myself. But maybe this isn't the place to show off how clever I am. Tee hee.
