I like #2 - because of the color and the smaller backplate. I like the shape of the lamps, too.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of either. They also seem too short. How wide are they and how wide is your mirror? I love your pendants; they seem very much in keeping with the style of the room, but they seem to hang in front of the mirror. Could you not hang them to the sides?

I prefer option 2 since I'm not a fan of the large back piece on option 1.

#2 width is 16-1/2" wide. The mirror itself is 21" and the whole mirror is 26".

#1 light is 23-1/2" wide.

Holding them up, either look fine to me.

The current lights definitely should be moved out more if I were going to keep them, but I don't like the lighting they give off and they're actually installed in the ceiling vs. the wall and I don't like the whole look. I never moved the lights because I didn't want to create more holes knowing I was going to change them at some point.
