Kilim Beige is much lighter and, in my opinion, a much nicer color than Nomadic Desert.

It goes great with cream and I like it with blue/aqua colors as well.

I think Kilim Beige is a true neutral color. Goes with everything but isn't boring. Have it in several rooms in my house and in my last house.

Have you looked at something like SW tower tan? I think you have to go with a color with similar body to the quietude.

How about the same color as the trim only a couple of shades darker?

Annie-I have not looked at tower tan, at least I don't remember looking at it.

When you say "similar body" are you saying something as strong and lively? I will say my Quietude is very blue and brighter than the chip. I love it, but the chip looks more muted than my walls.

Tibbrex- I really am not crazy about my trim color, but it's what a "paint expert" picked when I built my home 3 years ago. It's a pretty cream in some light and a drab cream in other light. It's more of a chalk color.

It shouldn't be this hard for me to pick a color for a laundry room! Lol

Yes. If you look at Ben moores color preview you will see the strips are gradations of the same color. If you look say two steps down from the lightest you will see that those colors all work together pretty well as they have the same weight or body. Unfortunately that's not true of all paint color strips. But it is one tool to help you select colors that can stand up to each other and play nicely together.

I don't have SW strips here so I'm only seeing it on line, and on line the colors can look very different that IRL.
