Was there something that surprised you in their findings? I thought it all was pretty predictable. I loved bright bold colors when I was younger, but had no idea how sick I would get of them in such a short time. Same with wallpaper, I loved it and had to have it in every room, and had tall tall ceilings, but that too I tired of, I like changing up a room with accessories and you can't do that if you're locked into a color scheme, plus it's a lot harder to wallpaper than it is to paint. Decorating styles usually skip a generation, some of the things my mother liked and I hated my DIL loves.

I am feeling younger, so thank you for posting that, violet! I love bright colors and wallpaper, but in addition I turn to professionals and am 99.99% "done" and def feel I have achieved my vision. So, I guess I fall into more than one category.
