wood alternatives for main door?

Hello, i live in a flat in India that doesn't conform to any specific style. I'm looking for what good materials there are that are not wood but definitely fancy like wood and affordable. I want to try something other than wood if there is anything good available. So is there a great material that is in now. I want something cool as I'm the type that's also going to install tin ceiling in my bedroom. Thanks.

For your entry door? If you rent the flat, the landlord gets to choose the door.

Doors are going to be wood, steel, or fiberglass ... for strength.

Painting it is about all you can do to an entry door - a color that is also part of your living room and entry area colors.
