I am pretty careful with my wool pillows or make sure they can be dry cleaned. I move the few I have if I am eating anything (I do eat on the sofa sometimes) and I don't put my bare head on them. I will use them behind my back or under my arm but try to keep from getting body oils or things on them. Of course the cat loves the best one. But cats are clean.
